I made it to my goal today despite the reality of being slightly sick. I expect to be totally sick by tomorrow, just in time for Thanksgiving. Good thing I was planning to take the day off anyway.I have a copy of the first five chapters of River Girl printed out and sitting by my bedside for just such an opportunity. I'm hoping I'm not going to be too sick to read and edit them. I'm trying to prepare them for a critique. My youngest son, Aaron, was sick two days ago and spent the entire day laying on the floor in front of the heater unable to move. He's better now. I'm not.
Today I wrote just over 3500 words - I had to, for NaNoWriMo... because if I don't keep working on it I won't finish by the 30th. Now that I've passed 30,000 words, I expect to be able to get the rest done quickly.
