Sunday, November 04, 2001 ( 7:07 PM ) This is terrible - I seem to be stopping every 200 words or so to do a word count... not sure where the story is going next. I have a general plan for the totality of the novel, but not a definite plan of what is to happen in today's 2500 words. I have another 1642 words to do today.

I keep thinking that if I can get through this novel, it will be like opening the flood gates on my writing ability - that somehow it will be so much easier after this. Will it happen? What stops me from writing? How can I change that?
