"Summertime, and the living is easy...
Fish are jumping now, and the cotton is high."

I used to sing that as a lullaby to my babies. Now they're all grown up... the youngest just had his 14th birthday, and I'm finally writing the children's novels I wanted to write years ago.

Here's photos of Aaron having a good time tubing down one of the local creeks:






While on that wet journey Aaron had an experience that I turned into a short story. I'll be writing three more this summer - all based on things my children told me.
