We've settled into a secure routine. I'm not always going to update this blog when we're doing pretty much the same things every day. It seems that Aaron studies best when I read to him first, so lately I've been reading a chapter of our literature book before going on to writing and math. Mainly, the book gets his attention and makes him willing to study with me.
Today Aaron beat me to it - while I was doing dishes he got his math and writing papers out and did them behind my back. This is a first! I am so happy he took the initiative to do the work without being asked.
We're reading through another bike book now... this one is
Classic American Bicycles by Jay Pridmore. It is an incentive to get the work done, since I save this reading for the end of our study sessions.
Tonight Aaron asked about how peanuts are grown, so we spent some time looking through peanut sites on the internet... there are quite a few.
